Digital photographic retouching can encompass much of what restoration entails, with the addition of manipulations, alterations or enhancements to elements of an image. This may include, but is certainly not limited to the following:

• reducing/removing unwanted flash effects like red eye or glare on glasses
• converting color to black and white, combining color and black and white, or color toning
• reducing/removing the signs of aging and fatigue
• blemish removal
• body re-sculpting (digital plastic surgery) to enhance or reduce physical features
• teeth whitening and straightening (digital dentistry)
• glamourizing models
• color correction
• commercial product enhancements and re-coloring
• soft focus and selective focus effects
• custom edges and vignetting
• complexion and makeup refinement

Portrait retouching can range from minor realistic adjustments that make one look well rested and as though the photo was taken with better lighting, to extreme adjustments that give a glamour magazine cover model look (the latter requires a well exposed, sharply focussed photograph to work from).

This service requires that you either hold the copyright or have authorized consent from the copyright holder to reproduce and modify particular photographs.
